Legacy Community Fcu Partners With Eclipse for Branch Transformation in Birmingham, Alabama
Legacy Community Federal Credit Union in Birmingham, Alabama recently selected Eclipse Brand Builders to transform a former Regions Bank branch into a new high-tech/high-touch branch for the credit union. Eclipse will be responsible for providing turnkey design-build services, including architecture, engineering, interior design, FFE procurement, and construction management, for the project.
The new location is centrally located for credit union members in the Meadowbrook area, on the south side of US Highway 280 at the corner of Meadow Brook Road. This office is also located very close to the credit union’s executive and administrative headquarters building, making the acquisition from Regions Bank a quick and easy decision for the credit union.
The computer rendering below illustrates the credit union’s new retail lobby, which has been designed with shapes, colors and textures to enhance the credit union’s brand while creating a warm, friendly and inviting space. Members are greeted by a dedicated concierge upon entry who helps determine the member’s needs and ushers them to the appropriate member service representative or to the cafe, where the member can wait while enjoying complimentary coffee or water, comfortable seating, entertainment via the built-in media center, and charging stations scattered throughout. Depending on members’ needs, member service representatives have the option of working with members in a private office or at one of two teller pods, which each include one counter-height and one sit-down station for member convenience, and a cash recycler to minimize wait times and maximize member engagement.
Eclipse Brand Builders was selected to provide turnkey design-build services for the project, including architecture, engineering, interior design and full-time on-site construction management. Eclipse will execute the construction of the project using local sub-contractors and local suppliers for all labor and building materials through a competitive bid process, keeping construction dollars in the community.
