Bank Chairman Philip Holder announced that Citizens Bank of Hartsville, Tennessee, recently broke ground in Hendersonville for a second branch office in Sumner County. The 5,286 square-foot facility is located in Indian Lake Village, at the northeast corner of Saundersville Road and Cinema Drive, two blocks east of Indian Lake Boulevard. Mr. Holder explained that the bank is seeking to expand its commercial and mortgage lending services, as well as serve the day-to-day banking needs of nearby residents.
“We are excited about this facility because it has been designed to serve our customers in a very modern, open-concept interior with teller kiosks, a self-serve hospitality center, self-serve computer stations, and a meeting room with a large patio,” stated Mr. Holder. “Yet, the exterior has an Old World flavor with a tower entrance and the use of mixed materials including stone and brick that complement much of the architecture in Indian Lake Village.”
“We see this branch as a social-hub for our community, not just a banking office, because many of our customers will be able to walk to our branch from work or home,” explained Todd Austin, President/CEO of Citizens Bank. “We specifically chose this site because of its proximity to the greenway, public library, shops, restaurants, cinema, schools, medical offices, and booming residential development. Convenient drive-thru services will also be provided.”
Citizens Bank was founded 111 years ago in Trousdale County and opened its first Sumner County location in downtown Gallatin in 2003. Citizens is a full-service, independent bank with a highly respected Five-Star Bauer Rating.
Citizens Bank partnered with Eclipse Brand Builders to select the site, design the facility, and provide construction management services. Eclipse Brand Builders is located in Metro-Atlanta and specializes in bank, retail, and commercial facility consulting, design, and construction.
