Acipco Fcu Partners With Eclipse to Create New Member Experience in Birmingham, Alabama
Eclipse Brand Builders was recently selected by ACIPCO Federal Credit Union to design the interior of a new 10,000 square foot main office in Birmingham, Alabama.
In addition to providing ample office space to support the credit union’s current and future needs, including conference rooms, an employee lounge, restrooms, etc., the credit union also wanted to create a new experience for its members. Founded in 1964 to provide financial services to employees of AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company (or “ACIPCO”) in Birmingham, Alabama, the credit union has been located within the company’s plant since its inception.
While the credit union’s new main office is also located on the ACIPCO plant’s property in Birmingham, the new location can be accessed publicly, giving members easier access to the credit union. With the more accessible location, Eclipse was asked to develop a new member experience to celebrate the credit union’s rich history while also positioning the credit union to provide the latest in financial products and services.
The computer rendering below illustrates the view upon entry to the credit union’s new retail lobby, with a custom reception desk, teller line and other millwork that have been designed to incorporates cast iron pipe. In addition, custom graphic wallcoverings have been designed to blend the rich heritage of AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company with the credit union’s branding and messaging. An example of one of the custom graphic wallcoverings is also shown below.
