Commercial Construction Project Manager and Estimator

We are currently looking for a Commercial Construction Project Manager & Estimator who has a minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience to join us, working from our headquarters in Johns Creek, GA.  Qualified candidates will possess a strong track record of success managing commercial construction projects, with a unique background that includes on-the-job knowledge of construction and strong estimating and quantity take-off skills.

This role is a tremendous opportunity to advance within our firm, in all facets of construction estimating and project management, and will be responsible for significant project activities including:

  • Conceptual estimating
  • Detailed quantity estimating and take-offs
  • Subcontractor bidding and buy-out, and contract negotiation and preparation
  • Construction start-up and close-outs
  • Job cost tracking and projections
  • Shop drawing and submittal review and approvals
  • Field project manager and superintendent coordination, scheduling, and communication
  • Coordination and communication with internal design-build team members, including account managers, interior designers, architects, ect., as well as outside engineers
  • Handling and coordination of RFIs
  • Preparation and coordination of change orders (subcontractor and client)
  • Client meetings, communication, and presentations
  • Construction scheduling
  • Punch lists and project completion
  • Site visits with travel throughout the southeastern United States

To be considered for this position, the candidate must possess the following minimum experience, skill and abilities:

  • 15 to 20 years of similar commercial construction project experience required (similar in scope to what has been described above), including actual field construction experience and experience with unit price take-off estimating. Corporate, financial and retail experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction, Construction Science, Construction Management, or similar preferred
  • Extensive experience working on the computer with proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project, required. Knowledge of estimating software is a plus.

Assistant Construction Project Manager

We are currently looking for an Assistant Construction Project Manager who has a minimum of 5 to 10 years of commercial construction (general contracting and commercial construction administration) experience to assist our in-house construction management and estimating team working from our headquarters in Johns Creek, GA.

Senior Project Architect/Designer

Our award-winning design team continues to grow! We are currently looking for a Senior Project Architect/Designer who has a minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience in commercial architecture to join us!  This role is a tremendous career opportunity for an architect who wants to have an integral role at a smaller firm where they can directly impact all facets of the schematic, design development, construction document and construction administration phases of architecture.  Project activities will include:

  • Schematic design (hand drawing, AutoCAD, 3D modeling)
  • Design development drawings (AutoCAD)
  • Scopes of work (Word/Excel)
  • Construction drawings (AutoCAD)
  • Client meetings and presentations
  • Coordination of engineers (contract and work product)

Senior Interior Designer

We are currently looking to hire a commercial Senior Interior Designer who has a minimum of 10 to15 years of experience in commercial interiors for retail, hospitality, financial institutions, and/or professional/corporate offices.

SENIOR CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENTS / PROJECT MANAGERS (TRAVELLING/ON-SITE)

Are you an experienced on-site superintendent or project manager with 15 to 20 years of experience managing high quality commercial construction projects? Are you a hands-on superintendent at heart, who doesn’t mind getting dirty? Are you also a leader who can communicate with clients and manage subcontractors to ensure we exceed our clients’ expectations for quality, schedule and budget? If this sounds like you, we want you on our team!

We are seeking experienced on-site construction professionals with superintendent and project management experience who are capable of successfully executing all areas of our construction management program, including all subcontractor bidding and contract management, job supervision and subcontractor coordination, job cost projections, daily and monthly reporting and owner meetings and communications. Candidates will possess a unique combination of leadership, people skills, and construction expertise, as well as a track record of success managing commercial construction projects.

This position is full-time and requires the candidate to live and work on-site for the duration of each project.

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following experiences, skills and abilities:

  • A minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience in construction/project management.
  • Ability to travel and live on-site for the duration of each project.
  • A degree or certification in building construction or related field preferred.
  • Estimating and quantity take-off skills required.
  • Prior on-site construction project management experience in commercial projects required.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management and scheduling skills, and a proven record of success managing projects through to completion.
  • Strong financial management skills including accurate budget forecasting and a demonstrated ability to produce results within projected time and budget limits.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
  • Strong devotion to customer service and quality.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organization skills.
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with a drive to deliver on all three pillars of construction success: quality, schedule and budget.
