Interior Designer

Are you a creative, yet detail-oriented interior designer with 5 to 10 years of commercial experience looking for an opportunity to make a bigger impact in a smaller firm, where you get to grow your experience in all areas of commercial interior design?

This position requires a dynamic and personable candidate with excellent communication and inter-personal skills, and a minimum of 8 years of experience designing commercial interiors for retail, hospitality, banks, credit unions, and professional/corporate offices. This is an excellent opportunity for advancement within our firm! Candidates must have the ability to execute all phases of the design lifecycle, including schematic design and space planning, design development, construction documents (AutoCAD), furniture procurement and installation, and construction administration.

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following experiences, skills and abilities:

  • Between 5 and 10 years of interior design experience required. Corporate, financial and retail experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design (FIDER accredited) required. NCIDQ preferred.
  • Proven ability to produce complete and precise millwork drawings for fabrication (AutoCAD) of high-end commercial furniture and fixtures (both on your own and in leadership roles, as both will be required in this position).
  • Mastery of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, drawings, and models.
  • Knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and be able to juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations, vendors and construction managers.
  • Must be quality minded, self-motivated and dedicated to customer service.
  • Proficiency in the basic technical skills of interior design including the following computer skills: 1) Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook; 2) Proficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop required. Revit a plus; and 3) Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign graphic software.

Project Architect

Have you been limited to a specific role at a larger firm? Not here!... We are a small full-service architectural firm (with interior design and construction too!), where you will have the opportunity to expand your experience to include all facets of commercial architecture in a friendly, family-oriented environment with tons of growth potential!

We are looking for a project architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial architecture to join our growing team! This role is a tremendous career opportunity for an architect who wants to have an integral role in all facets of the design development, construction document and construction administration phases of architecture, and will contribute to significant project activities including but not limited to:

  • Schematic design (hand drawing, AutoCAD LT, 3D modeling)
  • Design development drawings (AutoCAD LT);
  • Scopes of work (Word/Excel);
  • Construction drawings (AutoCAD LT);
  • Specifications (BSD SpecLink);
  • Coordination of outsourced exterior renderings (contract and work product);

Commercial Construction Project Manager and Estimator

We are seeking a Commercial Building Construction Project Manager and Estimator with a minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience to work at our office in Johns Creek. Candidates must have strong estimating and quantity take-off skills. Candidates will possess a unique combination of leadership, people skills, and construction expertise, as well as a track record of success managing commercial construction projects. This role is a tremendous opportunity to advance within our firm, in all facets of estimating and project management, and will be responsible for significant project activities including but not limited to:

  • Conceptual estimating
  • Detailed quantity estimating and take-offs
  • Subcontractor bidding and buy-out, and contract negotiation and preparation
  • Construction start-up and close-outs
  • Job cost tracking and projections
  • Shop drawing and submittal review and approvals
  • Field project manager and superintendent coordination, scheduling, and communication

Commercial Construction Superintendents & Project Managers (Travelling/On-Site)

Are you an experienced on-site superintendent or project manager with a minimum of 20 years of experience managing high quality commercial construction projects? Are you a hands-on superintendent at heart, who doesn't mind getting dirty? Are you also a leader who can communicate with clients and manage subcontractors to ensure we exceed our clients' expectations for quality, schedule and budget? If this sounds like you, we want you on our team!

We are seeking experienced on-site construction professionals with superintendent and project management experience who are capable of successfully executing all areas of our construction management program, including all subcontractor bidding and contract management, job supervision and subcontractor coordination, job cost projections, daily and monthly reporting and owner meetings and communications. Candidates will possess a unique combination of leadership, people skills, and construction expertise, as well as a track record of success managing commercial construction projects.

This position is full-time and requires the candidate to live and work on-site for the duration of each project.

To be considered for an On-Site Superintendent position, candidates should possess the following experiences, skills and abilities:
